El Encuentro de Líderes Aventureros 2026 reunirá a líderes voluntarios de Latinos Aventureros en el Centro de Aprendizaje Científico de las Tierras Altas Apalaches en Purchase Knob, dentro del Parque Nacional Great Smoky Mountains.
Del 10 al 12 de julio de 2026, este encuentro fortalecerá el liderazgo, la seguridad, el bienestar y la planificación organizativa de Latinos Aventureros. Durante el fin de semana, nuestros líderes participarán en capacitaciones y espacios de aprendizaje sobre Primeros Auxilios para la Salud Mental, Leave No Trace, liderazgo comunitario, identificación de plantas, planificación estratégica y simulaciones prácticas de “¿qué harías si…?” ante situaciones como accidentes, mal clima o participantes cansados durante una aventura.
Latinos Aventureros es una organización sin fines de lucro 501(c)(3), liderada por voluntarios, que ofrece aventuras gratuitas y bilingües para conectar a las comunidades con la naturaleza, la salud, la cultura y el sentido de pertenencia. Cada año, nuestros líderes hacen posible más de 100 eventos al aire libre en Carolina del Norte, creando espacios donde personas de todas las edades y trasfondos pueden aprender, explorar y sentirse bienvenidas.

The 2026 Líderes Aventureros Summit will bring together volunteer leaders from Latinos Aventureros at the Appalachian Highlands Science Learning Center in Purchase Knob, located inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
From July 10 to 12, 2026, the summit will strengthen leadership, safety, wellness, and organizational planning for Latinos Aventureros. Throughout the weekend, leaders will participate in trainings and learning spaces focused on Mental Health First Aid, Leave No Trace, community leadership, plant identification, strategic planning, and practical “what would you do if…” simulations for real situations that can happen during outdoor adventures, such as accidents, bad weather, or tired participants on the trail.
Latinos Aventureros is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers free bilingual outdoor adventures to connect communities with nature, wellness, culture, and belonging. Each year, our leaders make more than 100 outdoor events possible across North Carolina, creating spaces where people of all ages and backgrounds can learn, explore, and feel welcome.
This summit is a direct investment in the people who guide, care for, and support our community.
